Chicago based Brainfeeder affiliate Jeremiah Jae will be releasing his first album through the ever expanding label come July 23rd this year, entitled Raw Money Raps.
I would introduce you to Jeremiah Jae with his spoken word mixtape, Eating Donuts and Other Refined Foods, highlighting his talents as an MC (and his love for donuts). It is a nod to Dilla over beats from the king himself, Madlib and Flying Lotus, Jae encompasses left field hip hop and adds an infectious philosophical, improv vibe with his rhymes and rhythm.
Matching that of his production, with free releases such as DXNCE, he presents to us loose beats that are tripped out and experimental, allowing thoughts to wonder in between psychedelic samples and loops.
